I am able to only echo that. Just one can be "greater" than the other according to the conditions. Usually, the 9mm has my vote and I very own extra 9mm handguns than .40S&W. My two PPCs may also be 9mm (Sub2000 & CX4). That said, I do just like the 40 S&W lots and just acquired a Beretta APX that I really like.Purchasing for a focused carry pistol
